Money in Motion Has Reached 100,000 Users in Just 10 Months Since Launch and Is Preparing for The Big Transformation in 2025 – Integration with TOP Banks in Romania
Money in Motion, the free personal spending tracker app, has reached a historic milestone! On January 18, just 10 months after its launch, it reached 100,000 users!
2024, The Year of Four Major Updates and Global Expansion
Originally launched as a practical and free personal budget-tracking tool, Money in Motion has quickly and continuously evolved to offer users the best experience, with the simplest and most accurate tools to track their money, reduce waste, and save both personally and for their families.
Since its launch, MiM has benefited from four upgrades (updates) that have brought more than 20 new features to the platform. In addition to many user-customizable features (paycheck to paycheck period, expense subcategories, adding notes, editing expenses, deleting an expense), the four updates have also meant the introduction of reports and recommendations directly in the app, as well as the internationalization of Money in Motion! As of summer 2024, MiM is available globally, in all currencies!

In the first year since its launch, the app attracted private funding of 200,000 euros from partners who support the development of Money in Motion to keep it FREE for all users!
We conceived the social project “Money in Motion” to help as many Romanians as possible to increase their financial well-being through a structured plan that starts with tracking expenses, reducing waste, increasing savings, and adopting smart investment strategies. The development of the Money in Motion app was carried out by the Romanian company BeeCoded and represented a major challenge due to the variety of features (budget tracking, detailed reports, financial education modules) and the need to provide a user-friendly interface that encourages users to return and manage their finances effectively. Behind its seemingly simple design, there were complex processes of architecture, integration, and data analysis, requiring careful coordination between all teams.

The Great Revolution is Coming: Integration with Banks!
2025 brings the biggest challenge yet for Money in Motion! The major goal for this year is to integrate the app with all the major banks in Romania! This will allow MiM to automatically capture all daily expenses made by users from all cards enrolled in the app, so they won’t have to manually enter each expense anymore! The integration with banks will bring countless benefits to users: time saved when entering expenses, data accuracy, the ability to generate highly detailed reports based on the information gathered from the cards, and the synchronization of expense tracking for other family members, so everyone can see in real-time the budget spent so far compared to the target set, as well as the available balance at the family level.

Free Financial Education Webinars
Another new feature in the Money in Motion app will be available starting January 2025. MiM users will exclusively enjoy a free monthly webinar with Iancu Guda. The webinar, hosted by the MiM founder, is divided into four sections: economic context, a financial education tip, a MiM app demo, and a podcast with a special guest! The MiM webinar will be available for free on the 28th of each month, but only for those who have installed the Money in Motion app and registered an account!
